As Director of Learning for Client Capabilities (Operations; Implementation, Expertise Credentialing, Strategy & Corporate Finance, Marketing & Sales) in McKinsey & Company, I led a talented global team of learning professionals that design, develop, and deliver functional learning programs globally, targeting more than 5000 practitioners spread over 100+ offices. Before this, as an internationally experienced Operations consultant, I served clients using my deep knowledge of lean and resource-productive operations paired with my passion for capability building. I have delivered significant impact in large-scale operations transformation programs with both my functional abilities and my project leadership skills. As core faculty in McKinsey's global Innovation & Learning Center network and I created a distinctive track record of designing and delivering innovative trainings, such as the “Executive Operations Experience". Since 2014 I serve as academic lecturer at Graz University of Technology, where I also conducted my doctoral research at the Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management. My passion for knowledge has made me one of the top-authors on McKinsey’s Operations Insights. I have written extensively on a variety of operations topics including the books “Unlocking Industrial Resource Productivity: 5 core beliefs to increase profits through energy, material, and water efficiency”, "Management Approach for Resource-Productive Operations: Design of a Time-Based and Analytics-Supported Methodology Grounded in Sigma", and the blog series "Ops 4.0 - The Human Factor". Prior to McKinsey, I worked as Site Integrated Working System Leader and Process & Project Engineer at Procter & Gamble Germany. In academia I conducted research at the Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management at Graz University of Technology, and at the Instituto Nacional de Engenharia, Tecnologia e Inovação in Lisbon. Outside work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being in nature, doing sports (skiing, cycling, fitness), reading, and keeping on learning.
